For Savannah Rae, living life without her parents was unimaginable. But
being blamed for her first love’s suicide? That destroyed every part of who she
was.
Gone were the days of innocence, happiness, and dreams. Now her days
simply meant attempting to survive. In her mind, her only means for that was
replacing her grief with men, booze and the fast life. And for five years, it
worked.
When an opportunity to leave the nightmares of her past in Australia
opens up, she takes it. Los Angeles beckons - with hopes of late nights, new
beginnings, and the promise of a string of endless men to distract her, she
can’t wait to dive in.
One thing she didn’t count on was meeting her match.
In the eyes of outsiders, Tate Connors has it all; the ultimate LA
bachelor who is content with his lifestyle of wild nights, women and one night
stands. He's Mr. Unpredictable with looks that could destroy any woman with one
glance.
The craziness of Los Angeles throws them into the chaotic path of each
other. Savannah becomes the perfect game, and Tate becomes the ultimate prey.
Lines are crossed, emotions are smashed, and the idea of who they truly are
begins to be tangled.
However, one thing will become clear.
They are more alike than either one could ever have imagined.
My 4 Star Review!!
Savannah
has found herself traveling across the world from Sydney to Los Angeles for her
job. Leaving behind the only home she has ever known in hopes of starting
over. Moving to LA also has the added bonus of being able to run away
from her past. Savannah has always used men as a way to escape by using
them and leaving them before they have a chance to leave her. But she may
have met her match with her new co-workers twin brother Tate Connors.
Tate is arrogant, cocky, confident, and the ultimate man whore. He knows
no boundaries when it comes to the ladies, and he isn’t concerned about
changing his ways for anyone. That is until sassy confident Savannah Rae
walks into his world and changes everything up.
I
really loved Savannah. I know she was running from her past and that helped
shape her into this confident bad a** chick, but she knows who she is and why
she is that way she and accepts it. Tate is cocky and confident in
all the right ways. He was never too over baring and he never came off
like a total tool. He just knows what he wants and he takes it. The
relationship between the main characters and the supporting characters was
great. They were all hilarious as a whole and individually. There
were a couple twists and turns in this book that keep you wanting to change the
page to find out what would happen. Between the amazing heroine and the
relationship between all the characters, I defiantly recommend this book!!

One look from Savannah Rae was all it took for Tate Connors to fall.
From the first moment he laid eyes on her, his world was irrevocably
shaken. He’s willing to accept that his life will never be the same again, but
when she has to leave for New York the distance becomes more than either of
them expected.
Tate is left alone with not only an empty bed but also a thousand
thoughts running through his head. Insecurities soar as he wonders if he could
ever really be the kind of man Savannah deserves.
When the demons of his past continue to threaten the future he so
desperately craves, Tate knows he has to make the ultimate choice. Risk
destroying his relationship and his family with one life changing decision, or
gamble on fate and hope the past stays exactly that…the past.

My 5 Star Review!!
Tate
Connors has never been dependent on anyone other than his twin Tanzi. But
his fast love-filled relationship with Savannah has left him completely messed
up emotionally. When Savannah left for New York, Tate started throwing
himself into his work just to escape the lonely feeling. In Breathless,
Tate has an internal battle with himself and his past. He wants to make
Savannah and Jellybean’s life perfect, but in order for him to do that he must
face his demons.
I
think Breathless was the perfect follow up for Just Breathe. I absolutely
loved how the author was able to let us all inside of Tate’s mind and
heart. We were able to see how strongly he felt for Savannah and his
Jellybean, which had me in tears more than once. We were also able to see
the unbreakable bond between him and Tanzi up close and personal. This
book opened up my eyes to Tate Connors, and really helped me get a better
understanding of whom he is. Rachel completely destroyed me with the
twist and turns in this book, and I am dying for the next installment!! I
laughed out loud with their crazy antics and I cried like a baby more than
once. This book was unbelievably great!! I strongly recommend reading
this after Just Breathe. You will not be disappointed.
