Kadence Turner is a teacher who takes great pride in her work. Always wanting to make sure her students thrive she becomes concerned when one of her quieter student begins acting our. Kadence calls a conference with him parents but was in no way prepared for who walks in her door. Phoenix ‘Nix’ Knight is the president for the Knights Rebels MC and has quite a reputation. The attraction for one another is felt right away but Kadence has been hurt in the past and the last thing she is looking for is more trouble. Nix is not one to take no for an answer so he is determined to get her on the same page. As Nix pursues Kadence ghosts from the past move in to complicate things.

I think this is one of the better MC books I have read in awhile. I loved the story line and characters. This is not your typical MC book. I immediately loved the relationship between Kadence and Nix. The way the 2 banter back and forth is hilarious and the same goes for Holly and Kadence. This story will pull you in from the very beginning and you will not want to put it down River Savage has done an amazing job telling this story and I cannot wait to read more from this talented new author. Even if MC books are not your thing this book is a must read!!!

I will start of by saying I LOVE MC books.. Love them.. adore them.. consume them.. River made a MC book that was not your typical MC book and I loved every second of it.

Kadence Turner is a teacher who loves what she does and takes pride in what she does.  When one teacher’s conference turns into a heated stare down between herself and the president of Knight’s Rebels, things go from calm to lust filled quickly.  Nix can’t seem to figure out what is pulling himself to his sons teacher, but after getting to know her more he doesn’t care he just wants Kadence.  The big problem Kadence has been burned in the past and the past keeps haunting her.

River created a world I didn’t want to leave.  She had me from the very first chapter and I didn’t want to put the book down.  Kadence was amazing.  She is strong, witty, and keeps Nix on his toes at all times.  Nix is all biker, but has a defiant softer side that drew me in.  Regardless if you are a MC fan or not, this book will be one you won’t want to put down!
