Review: Carter Reed by Tijan
Emma decided to skip the gym and went home early. It was the last easy
decision she made because she found her roommate being raped by the boyfriend.
She had two choices. Call the cops and be killed by his family’s mafia
connections or kill him first and hope to survive. There was no choice to her.
She killed the bastard first and went to the one person who could protect her.
Carter Reed. He’s a weapon for the rivaling mafia family, but he’s also Emma’s
secret. Not only was he best friends with her brother, but she’s the reason he
became that weapon in the first place.

My 4 Star Review!!
I
must start off by saying that I freaking love anything done by this author!! I
am such a huge fan and am always giddy for Tijan’s next book, and this one was
no exception!! Carter Reed is dangerous, brooding, and a total alpha. He is
known as the cold killer and he doesn’t disappoint. He was best friends with
Emma’s brother many years ago, and the only person Emma can turn to after
killing a man. Emma was just trying to do the right thing and save her friend
from being raped, but killing a member of the mafia is not an easy thing to get
away with. Emma and Carter travel down a treacherous path filled with
uncertainty, lies, and deceit, but the path is also filled with lust and dare I
say love?
I
really liked this book. Its different than anything else I have ever read
before, and there is defiantly nothing quite like Carter Reed. The idea of the
mafia chasing you and the only person who can save you is this hot as sin stone
cold killer. Sigh. The only negative thing I could say about this book would be
the development of the book didn’t seem as detailed as her other series, but
that might be because it was a stand alone and not a series. Other than that, I
would totally recommend this book to whoever wants a book filled with a kind of
love people would kill to protect.

Manda's 4 Star Review:
As
a huge fan Of Tijan I was excited to read this book. Once again Tijan does not
disappoint. Carter Reed lacks a bit in the character development that we are
used to in Tijan's books, but the story line keeps you interested and
entertained. The excitement starts from the very beginning and keeps you fully
involved in the story. The relationship
that
develops between the main characters and the history that they share will keep
you hooked. Another good book by Tijan and definitely a must read.
Review: Fallen Crest Public by Tijan
Sam's
first day at Fallen Crest Public doesn't go well. Some girls want to be her.
Some girls want to destroy her. And some just don't like her. All in all,
despite being protected by Mason and Logan, it's still only the strong survive.
Sam will not only have to survive, she needs to learn how to conquer too, but
there's another battle growing. Things are about to come to a disastrous end
between the towns, Roussou and Fallen Crest. Sam's other main dilemma? Keeping
Mason and Logan from getting arrested or hospitalized.
*** This is the 3rd book in the series and WILL contain spoilers from
books 1 and 2. We recommend reading the first books prior to reading this

Mag's 5 Star Review:
Fallen
Crest Public starts off with Sam attending Fallen Crest Public, where she only
knows Mason and Logan’s friends and Heather Jax, who is the closes to a BFF she
has. Sam soon realizes how difficult it will be to gain the respect of those
around her she is so desperately looking for. The girls at FCP are none to
welcoming towards Sam, and make their hatred towards her know. Fallen Crest
Public also deals more with Mason and Sam’s.
FCP
started with a bang and ended with a bigger bang. Tijan literally blew my mind
with this book. I was sucked into a crazy, emotionally fast passed book that I
couldn’t put down. The relationship between Sam and Mason gets blown to epic
proportions in this book, and you see how much Mason truly cares for Sam and
the lengths he is will go to protect her. The dynamic between Logan and Sam
also takes a turn in FCP. I have read a ton of books from Tijan, but this was
by far my favorite of hers. I will be counting down the days until I can get my
hands on her next book!!

4 Star Review:
Sam
is starting her first semester at Fallen Crest Public. She knows it wont be
easy even with Mason and Logan by her side, but she no idea just what she is in
for. Not only must she deal with the girls at her new school who want to
destroy her for being with Mason but she must also find away to keep Mason and
Logan from going head to head with the guys from Roussou. She fears if that
happens the two people she cares the most about could end up hurt or in jail.
Sam must find the strength to stand when everything around her seems to be
crashing down.
Wow
Tijan is amazing! I have loved all of her books but this series is really one
of my favorites. I have been looking forward to this book and once I started it
I could not put it down. I love the relationship between Mason, Sam and Logan.
When both of their families have let them down they found a real family in each
other and I love that they would do anything to protect each other. This book
really gives you a look at just how far they will go for each other. The way
Tijan writes these stories amazes me. She writes these strong characters who
can be ruthless and at times seem heartless but then she gives you a glimpse
into their hearts and you get a taste of how vulnerable they really are. So
good and I can't say enough about this series. I am going to be impatiently
awaiting the next book! Can't get enough.
