What's Left of Me by: Amanda Maxlyn
Life works in mysterious ways.
Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.
I refuse to cry.
And I refuse to give in.
A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now,
but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows
what he wants. Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.
My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.
Who Picked This? Book blog was given this ARC in exchange for an honest
review.
Manda's 5 Star Review:
Aundrea
McCall has been fighting for her life for the past few years. Determined to
stay strong and not give up Aundrea has decided to concentrate on the now and
to forget about relationships or anything that might require a future she is
unsure of. After receiving her latest diagnosis she moves in with her sister to
start treatment. After a crazy night out with the girls leads to a hot one
night stand with the handsome stranger Parker, Aundrea readies herself for what
may be her toughest battle yet. Only problem is one night with Parker may not
have been enough.
What
an amazing book!! I haven't given a 5 star review in a while and was more than
happy to give this book that rating. The characters are amazing and the story
is so beautifully written. You will absolutely LOVE Parker. He is the perfect
BBF and you will get caught up in Aundrea's emotional journey. I read this book
in one afternoon. I could not put it down and the end completely blew my mind.
In order for me to give a book a 5 star it has to stay with me after I have
finished it and this book definitely did that. It will have you running through
all your emotions and saying what the heck just happened. I could not wait to
tell my blog partner about this book and recommend it to my friends, Really a
fantastic job Amanda Maxlyn. You have a fan and I can't wait to read more from
you!

5 Star Review:
Aundrea
has cancer. She hasn’t let it beat her during the four years it’s been in her
life and she isn’t planning on letting it win this time. Finding out the best
form of treatment is located in a different city where she will have to up
route her whole life to go and get treated left her with her sister and brother
in law no other family or friends. Facing her upcoming treatments Aundrea goes out
to have some fun and winds up meeting Parker, a gorgeous, tanned, toned
blue-eyed beauty. One thing leads to another, and they share one amazing night
together. Before things could get weird she runs the next morning. Little did
she know fate had other options in store for her.
I
truly loved this book. I read it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down.
Aundrea is fiercely strong and has this will power that keeps her going. The
relationship between Parker and Aundrea was simply beautiful. I laughed in this
book and I cried like a baby. I wish I could read it all over again just to
feel those emotions for the first time again. It was that good. Amanda had
shocked me and sent on a very emotional ride. I look forward to reading more
from her. Grab a box of tissues, a bottle of wine, box of chocolates whatever
your comfort is and go read this book!!
