*This is NOT the last book in the series. There will be later books
featuring Turner and Naomi again, and they also appear in this volume quite a
bit. ;)
Ronnie McGuire is my target.
But I wish he wasn't.
I didn't sign up for this destruction, this pain.
In his music, I hear his soul crying out for me.
If I could, I'd run away from here and never look back because to tell
you the truth, I'm terrified. There are forces weighing in on me that even I
don't understand. I'm scared. Things are dangerous. This could get real ugly,
real fast.
& & &
Lola Saints is a godsend.
But I wish she wasn't.
I don't know sh*t about her, but already, I'm hooked.
When she plays, I can almost imagine the ghosts of the dead are calling
out to me.
If I could, I'd shed my soul and leave the pain of the past behind me.
But I can't. I have to figure out if there's a way to fall in love anew and
respect the old. But something else is going on, something weird. Something
that tells me my tough luck might just run out real fast.

4 Star Review
Let
me first start off by saying CM Stunich is evil in the best way possible!
She is the queen of evil cliffhangers that have me counting down to the release
of the next book in the series. I should have known this already, but was
once again caught off guard! I love how raw and real her books are.
They aren’t some romantic love story with hearts and flowers. No they are
heart gripping, raw, down right nasty books that I CAN NOT get enough of!
I actually really like Ronnie’s character. I started opening my heart to
him in book 2 and I was not disappointed in this book! Lola came in and
blew my world apart in Tough Luck. So many questions were answered, yet
so many are still left to the imagination. I am anxiously awaiting more
Turner and Naomi in the next book, but would strongly recommend this series to
anyone looking for a series that will have your mouth hanging open, you
gripping your kindle, and laughing yourself silly!!
Manda's 4 Star Review:
I
am a huge fan of this series and a huge fan of C.M Stunich. So far in this
series we are getting a full dose of Naomi and Turner. We know that Naomi is
being targeted and just when we think we have it figured out....Boom!! we find
out its not just her.
This
book is all about how Ronnie McGuire fits into this crazy messed up mystery.
I
was so happy to see Ronnie starting to come out of his depression and drug
induced haze in book 2, and now we get to learn more about what put him there.
Ronnie has a reputation in the previous books as being the gossip king as well
as an addict and man whore. We know he has several kids with several different
mommas and that he really doesn't have relationships with any of them, but
that's all we really know about him. Now we get the story of how he became that
man and why he is now being targeted. We also get to meet the members of Ice
and Glass, one of the opening bands on the tour.
This
is how we meet Lola Saints, the drummer for Ice and Glass. Lola approaches
Ronnie after a show to try and gets some information from the man who seems to
know everything. What she finds is a broken man and though she knows she
shouldn't she wants nothing more that to put him back together. So many more
twists and turn revealed in this book, so many questions answered and so many
new players. I love this book and cannot wait for the next one. I have to know
what happens next. I recommend this series and if you have already started it
then you know its awesome and should also be impatiently waiting for what
happens next!!
Bad Day (Hard Rock Roots #4) by C.M Stunich
Turner Motherf*cking Campbell.
I'm into him, yeah, and I think I love him.
But the sh*t has just hit the fan.
Time for the angels and devils to crash.
Because if we don't, then this all falls apart, and we lose everything. The fans, the music, the relationships that are just beginning to blossom. This is it. Let's kick as*, take names, and let the world know who's boss.
& & &
Naomi Isabelle Knox, she's everything to me.
And I know I love her.
But I can't ignore the sh*t storm that's taken over this tour, my tour.
Time to get serious; time to dig deep; time to take back the music.
Because if we don't, then I could lose her. She could die; we all could. Or worse. Time to show the world what we're made of, that we're here to stay. Say hello to your idols, baby. Your new gods. Say hello to Indecency and Amatory Riot. Your latest obsessions, your greatest desires.
If you have not read the first 3 books do not read this!!
Manda's 4 Star Review:
The tour goes from bad to worse. With one of their own in the hospital fighting for their life and the threat to all of them still lurking in the shadows. Amatory Riot's manager reveals she knows more about the attacks and why they are all targets. The group forms a plan but can they stay one step ahead of Tyler or will he find a way to get to them
Oh C.M Stunich how you love to torture me. This series just keeps getting better and better. Just when you think you have things figured out something else happens to completely throw you off. Love this series and can not wait for the next one.
