Growing up the way I did, you’d think I’d be more screwed up than what I actually am.

Soon as I turned sixteen, I left that bump in the road I called home and took my chances on the street.

Best decision I ever made.

Now, at the age of twenty six, I’m educated, employed and damn good at my job.

My friends have become my family. Like me, they know what it’s like to grow up unloved.

But the saying is true.

The world makes way for those who know where they are going.

That’s me.

I know where I’m going and I’ll get there eventually. On my own terms and at my own pace.

But then there’s him.

I feel his eyes on me. I see him hiding in plain sight. He watches me.

He makes me feel.

It’s unconventional.

But it’s real.

I’m sure you’re wondering how a person falls in love with their stalker.

So am I.

Raw is not your cookie cutter fairy tail book.  Twitch is not a flowers and romance kind of guy; he is more along the lines of monster hiding under your bed and the thing that goes bump in the night. 

“Taking a step towards me, his hooded brown eyes almost see right through me. ‘Monsters don’t always lurk in the shadows.’  Reaching up, he runs a fingertip slowly down the length of my jaw.  Leaning forward, his breath warms me as he mutters a hairs-breadth away from my lips, ‘Sometimes they hide in plain sight.’”

Coming from a crappy and unforgiving up bringing Twitch leaves his home and lives on the streets jumping from place to place before ending up in juvenile detention center.  Alexia entered the foster system after running away when she was a teenager.  Following her foster mother to Australia, Alexia ends up becoming a social worker trying to help all the kids that skip threw the cracks. After a close encounter Alexia comes face to face with her mysterious stalker, Twitch. 

Raw grabbed my attention from the moment I started reading it.  I didn’t want to put it down and once it was done I had a horrible book hangover.  This book was gritty and dirty.  It left me feeling sad and angry, yet complete at the same time.  Twitch is sexy, extremely dominant, and very deadly.  His points of view take this book to a new level.  Alexia is extremely strong even when she doesn’t believe she is.  Dealing with Twitch she has to be.  This was my first book my Belle Aurora and it will not be my last.  I defiantly recommend this book to absolutely everyone who likes darker romances that will blow your mind.

Alexa Ballentine had a rough childhood. Growing up with a mother that was never there and a father who never loved her, she sets out on her own at 16 to make a life for herself. Now at age 26 she is a successful social worker, devoting her life to help others who are growing up the way she did. Everything is finally going her way. The only problem is the strange man who watches her. He is always there, never approaching her just there watching. She isn't scared of him and finds some comfort knowing he is there. After a terrifying attack brings her face to face with this mystery man, Alexa finds herself in a world she never thought she would be a part of. Things aren't always what they seem and sometimes danger is closer to you than you think

5 stars just don't seem like enough! Wow! Belle Aurora you are amazing! I cannot say enough about this book! By far one of the best and most engaging stories I have read in a long time. Raw steps outside of the traditional bad boy redemption mold and will completely blow you away.

Twitch is such a powerful and raw character. After one encounter as a child changes his life he becomes obsessed with what happened. Eventually his obsession with a random act of kindness becomes distorted in his mind and he becomes angry and set on payback. Belle does an amazing job bringing this character to life. He is so complex and his storyline is so dark you get drawn in. Where Twitch is darkness Alexa is light. She is such a lovely character, who used her terrible childhood to make a difference for others. Even after discovering she had a stalker, she looks for the good in the situation.

This is a MUST read book. It will completely blow your mind and stay with you long after you have finished it. Definitely one of my new favorite books and one I will recommend to everyone. Fantastic job Belle Aurora! You are amazing!
